Sofrito played for a sold out crowd at the San Jose Jazz Break Room. They hosted Sofrito’s full band with a 3 horn section and complete rhythm section. We also introduced songs with a featured vocalist and highlighted our Quartet.

The Stanford Latin Jazz Ensemble, founded by four-time Grammy-nominated pianist and director Murray Low, focuses on the study, performance, and interpretation of Afro-Latin music fused with North American jazz. Recognized as one of the finest academic performing groups in its field, the ensemble has collaborated with renowned guest artists such as Oscar Hernandez, Mitch Frohman, Jesus Diaz and Edgardo Cambon.
